It’s no secret that new regions have been on their way to Iron Grip: Marauders for some time.
But we have never given too much away simply because we had too many ideas to choose from.
Well today that is going to change because not only will we tell you about a new region, we will also show you what it is going to look like!
Are you ready? Got a drink, got a snack, you’re comfy?
The next area that will be introduced to the game is a Walker Boneyard. Think of an aircraft boneyard mixed with a fully operational salvage yard.
Walker Boneyards handles all kinds of scrap vehicles, but the rusting skeletons of once mighty battle walkers are the focus of the largest projects in the yards: sometimes to dismantle them and take out valuable systems, in other cases to restore them to active service.
Although it is possible to run these scrapyards as legitimate businesses, they often become dens of criminality, with people interested in buying and selling illegally acquired vehicles and parts.
There are laws in Kathos prohibiting the restoration of military vehicles and weaponry recovered from scrap vehicles, but these laws are rarely enforced.
Some Walker Boneyards have especially large operations, and the central management of the yard sometimes has difficulty controlling the outer areas.
So yes, it’s clear to see how this new area will become a real place to be!
What do you think, is this scrapheap going to light your fire? Or do you still prefer the soft chairs and pretty girls at Jasmine’s?
