Hey everybody, I'm new to these forums, but I just wanted to share a project that I'm working on. I am creating a custom map for Unreal Tournament 3 inspired by some concept art from Iron Grip. I'm looking for some feedback and hopefully some people to test it when it is finished. Below you will find some screenshots and comparisons to the concept art. Although please keep in mind that the art style is drastically different from the concept art simply because I used mostly existing assets within the UnrealEd. Obviously Unreal Tournament has a much more futuristic/outer space art style, so that's what I went with, but I did try to keep the spirit of the original in tact. So, the level itself takes place on the top of a giant airship called Dreadnaught. If you are interested in a more detailed breakdown of the creation process please check out my blog and portfolio site: http://owenportfolio.squarespace.com/blog/2010/3/9/dreadnaught-map-progress-6.html

Well, it's done... so here it is. http://owenportfolio.squarespace.com/storage/Dreadnaught.zip You will need Unreal Tournament 3 to play the map, but you can see some final screenshots here: http://owenportfolio.squarespace.com/blog/2010/3/29/dreadnaught-unreal-tournament-3-map-complete.html Later today there will be a video on that page as well. Thanks for your support! Let me know what you think.

I love it. Wink

Even though most of the map is made up by UT3 content, you managed to create the characteristic steampunk atmosphere of IGW. Kudos to the hard work!

Too bad I don't have UT3...
