 Considering how awesome our previous fragfest was, we decided to throw another! All of those Iron Grip: Warlord players, it’s time to man up, gear up, and prepare for some confederation annihilation. This Fragfest will be held on Sunday, March 14th, at 3PM EST (8PM GMT) That’s 9PM for most of our European friends. and it may last for hours! We will be trying to fill up both of our Xfire servers (starting with US, then overflowing into EU)! Bring your friends! For all who are interested in voice communication during gameplay, our Xfire Community has setup an Official Iron Grip: Warlord Chatroom! Please check out our Xfire Community for more details! Are you asking yourself, “What in the world is a Fragfest?!?” Well, let me tell you! A Fragfest is a set time and place to gather as many Warlords out there and join together for some pure confederate-butt-kicking-action. Yeah, I said that. These are awesome ways for those new rookies and ancient gearheads to get together, meet new people, and enjoy a nice time blowing up Fuel Bombs in a crowd of confederates. Want to hear the best part about a Fragfest? Well if you come, you’ll get to play the game with some of the ISOTX staff! Can’t beat that! I do hope that this Fragfest will be indeed a large one - I participated in two Fragfests so far but apart from a server housing 5 players, there weren't masses of IGW players on the battlefields... :rolleyes: Want to hear the best part about a Fragfest? Well if you come, you’ll get to play the game with some of the ISOTX staff! Can’t beat that! I've never met anyone from the staff so far on the Fragfests, hope this time it'll be different...  By the way, congrats on your promotion to admin, Xystus!  |

Kudos to dodge83 and Vava for those frenetic Brute rounds that we had on the EU demo server... Hope that the programmers will fix my CD-key trouble soon and we can repeat it on other maps too... |

Well guys, we had something very unfortunate take place earlier. That unfortunate event would be Daylight Savings Time. I did not know it was coming, so I was unable to predict this issue from happening. In the post, I mentioned that the Fragfest would be at 3:00pm EST which is 8:00pm GMT. However, due to daylight savings time, EST moved their clocks AHEAD one hour. So 3:00pm EST was really 7:00pm GMT. Due to some outside uncontrollable events, I was unable to play for longer than an hour. So when I left, I know many players were wondering what was going on. All of this occurred to me about 10 minutes before the Fragfest began. I would like to apologize to all those guys that were looking forward to playing with me and some of the earlier gang, but couldn't. I hope you all had fun in either case. Thanks, Xystus |
