This is similar to before...we could use voice actors for the IDF and GOI. This means people with those accents.
Additionally we could also use someone for the French Peacekeeper.
More info posted later by Mandarax, who'll be handling the voice recording.

Hello there! My name is Rafael Ben-Ari. Next week will sum up my three years of service in the IDF. I'm a native Hebrew speaker, plus my English is very good, and I can also mimic arabic accents for you guys. I'll be happy to do some voice acting if you want me to. I can also contribute from my vast knowledge about the IDF and Israel in general, locations, habits, and whatnot. Any chance that voice actors could speak the actual language of the faction? meaning idf units speaking hebrew, UN units probably english and the GOI units Arabic or Farsi? at least optional? if you're trying to get voice actors from those countries anyways why not let them speak their first language additional to the english version?
I'd love to hear the Israelis speak Hebrew not just English with a Hebrew accent. It just adds a lot to the atmosphere of a game if the languages are right.

That's a nice idea. I think it will be better to spread a few native-language sentences while keeping basic stuff in English, so that the player will be able to understand the important stuff. Did anybody review my application for voice acting? |
