Iron Grip: Shards has a new look and feel, and some new content! We have the opening prologue to Broken Glass, a serial novel set in Atelia. Broken Glass is by a brand new Iron grip writer, who is going by the nomiker ProfessorWorldCrusher here on the HIVE.

In more musical news, the Bryan Symphony Orchestra will be performing the soundtrack to Iron Grip: The Oppression on April 15th! The Bryan Symphony Orchestra is world class, so if you're going to be in Tennessee during April, this is definitely a concert you need to see. If you're not going to be in Tennessee you will have to make do with the professional-quality recordings that are going to be made.

At the moment, all I know is that it will be at Tennessee Tech University - and there's rumors of a giant Iron Grip: The Oppression LAN party to accompany it. Watch this space for more details as we get them!

Aw man, if I had more prep time, I could've met a friend in Tennessee and we could both be in the lan.  I would not be giving my identity however...

Hey guys.

My name is Henry MacAfee, and I was chosen to arrange and orchestrate the music from the game for full orchestra.  It will be performed by the University Orchestra on April 15th at 7:30pm in Wattenbarger auditorium.  I'm a sophomore music composition student at Tennessee Tech, and I've poured hours into this project, so if you can, I'd love it if you came out to listen!

The final piece is in six movements:

I. The Oppression (an original composition of mine written for this project)
II. Rahmos Victory
III. Loading
IV. Combat Music
V. Resistance Victory
VI. Main Theme

It should be awesome; we've had a few rehearsals already, and let me tell you, the percussion parts are badass.

Let me know if you guys have any questions or comments.

I'll be there to listen to the practice tomorrow afternoon. I'm getting in touch with the recording crew folks as we speak.

I really like what he's done with a few sections of the main theme. They made me tingle just listening to the practice runs.
