 It’s not quite July 1st yet, but we didn’t want to wait for today’s news. Releasing today on CrosuS is the newest Iron Grip patch! While Release 1.33 is mostly a bug-fix patch, it also includes AwesomePossum’s new map Silberstad which you’ve all been seeing screenshots of over the past months. I’ve helped test the map, and to call it simply gorgeous wouldn’t do it justice. It’s definitely my favorite map now. To get the newest version, hop onto CrosuS and go to the Browse -> FPS Games section; it’ll be there under Half Life 2. A proper installation version will be released sometime in the near future. Also on CrosuS today are a number of new standalone games, including Alien Arena, Spirits, Maniac Miner, Jet Set Willy, Jetpac, Super Mario Pac, New Satan Sam, Exolon DX, Yak Attack, Ground Control, Wesnoth and Koala Brothers. These games are great for passing a few minutes at home or at the office, and they’re free! Finally, since I hate leaving you all without something to look forward to, I’m pleased to finally be able to announce that Isotx will soon be getting a brand new website layout. We’ve learned a lot from our current site and the new one incorporates a new sleeker sexier style with a much-enhanced and efficient navigation system. No-one likes having to click through a dozen pages to get where they want, and we’ve made sure to keep the site as informative yet quickly-navigable and concise as possible. We look forward to unveiling it soon! |

It's Exolon DX, not two seperate games.
Just thought I'd clear that up.
And then there's Tukimi Fighters for the next update. That will eat your life, it's addictive.

Install and log in to Crosus Right click on "iron grip" and click "update" Unless you don't have the old version installed, then go to the mods section and download it |

Is it some kind of a rule that all new releases or patches of IG (like 1.33) will be available at first only via crocus? I am asking since I am not personally going to install crosus - one steam like thing on my PC is just enough for me even if I am IG fan (so waititing for normal zip package is some kind of punishent for those who dont want to have crocus from my point of view) To avoid misunderstanding - I appreciate your work (especially on IG), but I think you should give ppl a possibility to download it without the crocus, otherwise IMO you are lossing ppl which are possibly interested in the mod. Those files will be available soon.

I second that, I applaud the idea of Crosus but it doesn't interest me personally. IG on the other hand remains of great interest, so I'd be quite distressed if you make a habit of releasing patches solely thru Crosus!

Well, releasing through Crosus is painless for us, and indeed we do wish to support Crosus.
Though a standalone will come shortly, things have just been a bit hectic lately.
Future releases will always be released first on Crosus, before they become available standalone, though I prefer not to see it as punishment, but more as promotion.
